The challenge
Continually create new “challenger” promotional emails that generate more click-throughs, leads, and customer conversions than the current “champion” email.
The solution
We used A/B testing to make improvements to the current champion, and introduce new challengers on an intense schedule.
I personally designed and released each new challenger (desktop + mobile versions), with continued application of evolving best practices, emerging industry trends, testing results, and client feedback to optimize performance and create exciting new concepts each week.
Testing techniques, included:
Animated gifs to increase engagement and click-throughs
A Single Selfish Benefit — streamline content, eliminate unnecessary extras
Condensed designs for entire message to live “above the fold”
CTA design tests to improve click-throughs
Countdown clocks to generate urgency
